We build and oversee initiatives for early career development, aiming to empower underserved groups while nurturing top-tier talent and preparing them for the workforce.
Work Experience

Up to 10 spaces

Two-week Programme spent understanding the company, doing small tasks and/or working on an industry project.

We screen candidates and do interviews in line with client specifications

We facilitate onboarding candidates and train them for workplace etiquette, maximising their chances of succeeding and completing the programme.

We check-in to track the progress of the candidate.

Vela pays each candidate £300 for completing the Work Experience Programme
Apprenticeships

Up to 10 spaces.

12-week mentoring programme (1 hour bi-weekly).

Virtual and/or in-person sessions

Mentors are onboarded and trained.

Matches based on mentee preference (gender/ethnicity).

Resources provided to support topics and guidance..

Mentorships

18-month placement in a junior role while learning on-the-job.

Convert junior roles into apprenticeship placements

We screen candidates and do interviews in line with client specifications.

Final stages interviews with client.

We facilitate onboarding candidates and train them for workplace etiquette, maximising their chances of succeeding and completing the apprenticeship.
